The trails and routes of Ingenio are very varied. Due to the geographical and orographic situation, the visitor has the opportunity to take tours of the coastline and the mountains.
Guayadeque, Natural Monument and Asset of Cultural Interest, Barranco del Draguillo Natural Monument, El Palomar Cultural Interest Asset, Granero Cuevas Varios, etc. Rural settlements such as: La Pasadilla, with its recreational area El Ratiño, Montaña Las Tierras, Caldera de los Marteles Special Natural Reserve, etc …, where it is possible to appreciate a multitude of natural and artificial caves that during pre-Hispanic times had the function of necropolis, in some cases, and in others, houses and funeral homes. To visit all of them, the municipality has a wide range of trails and routes.
The area of El Carrizal is noteworthy, its Church dedicated in honor of the Virgin of Our Lady of Good Success and its old town, as well as other emblematic places such as the Casa del Obispo, former episcopal headquarters, considered the oldest civil infrastructure in Gran Canaria, was the place of residence of the first Bishop of the Island Don Diego de Muro in the year 1496.
